Denver weather: More warmer than normal temperatures to start workweek

DENVER (KDVR) — After ending the weekend with record warmth, there’s more sunshine and warmer-than-usual temperatures in Denver’s weather forecast for the work week.

Denver recorded a high of 85 degrees, which was 25 degrees above normal for this time of year and broke the previous record of 78 degrees set on Nov. 2, 1931, then tied in 2008. The high of 83 degrees also sets a record for the warmest November temperature ever recorded in Denver, surpassing the previous record of 81 degrees, set on Nov. 27, 2017.

The weather tonight: mostly clear

Sunday night will remain mainly clear. Low temperatures will drop into the mid-30s, which is about five degrees warmer than normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Partly sunny, cool

On Monday, cold air will roll in as clouds build up. This will limit high temperatures to below 60 degrees, which is still about five degrees warmer than normal for this time of year.

Looking Ahead: Sunny and warm midweek

Sunny and warm weather settles in midway through the work week. High temperatures on Tuesday will reach the low to mid 70s, just a few degrees below the daily record of 77 degrees set in 2020. After that, a slight cooling trend will settle into the weekend with highs on Wednesday reaching 70 degrees, then the mid 60s on Thursday and Friday as a weak system moves to the north.

The sunshine continues into the weekend with cooler seasonal temperatures around 60 degrees.
