Denver police say Flock cameras led to stop, seizure of 2 AK-47s, inert grenade, fentanyl

Denver (KDVR) – On Tuesday, 17 June, the traffic station led the police to find elements that are not usually present during such incidents.

According to Denver Police Department, The officers with the Denver Auto Steft work squad were near West 13th Avenue and North Meade Street when they saw SUVs without license plates. The intersection is located near Paco Sanchez Park in the Mar Lee neighborhood in Denver.

When the car moved across the northwest of Denver, the officers surveyed to stand in the West 23 Street area and the Federal Boulevard, which is located near the Jefferson and Northwest Park of Empower Field in Mile High. While following the suspect, the police used a database reading the license board and the information database, Flock, to confirm the car was stolen from a nearby judicial state.

“Soon after, the officers moved, and they took four operators of SUVs to the reservation,” the agency said on Facebook. “One made an effort to flee on foot, but it was quickly detained.”

The officers searched the stolen vehicle and found two AK-47 rifles, a mansan, an inactive hand grenade, and multiple bags of suspected fentanel.

The agency said that the driver was a man with previous criminal convictions, and said that he had been arrested to conduct an investigation into the theft of cars, possess weapons by the former perpetrator, and possess an oversight material.

Two occupants of the car were arrested on active orders, as well as to investigate the possession of a controlled substance, and the fourth operator was arrested to investigate a subject subject to control and infringe on the property of others.
