Denver (KDVR) – The fifty -fifth annual October Festival of Denver has returned to spend the second weekend, and the organizers say it is more than more than beer and bombs.
The event revenue helps in financing cleaning, public arts and community events that aim to stimulate the Ballpark neighborhood on Street 21 and Larimer.
Matt van Sistine, who founded the stadium in 2017, says the group’s mission is to return people to the city center – and he invests his money to achieve this.
“We are trying to bring more this capacity energy to this neighborhood, and that everyone is welcome, and we do many festivals and events throughout the year, and our slogan is fun for everyone, and we are trying to make this a safe and enjoyable place for everyone to reach it,” Van Sistine said.
Van Sistin says that support for the October Festival is one piece of the largest personal project: buying and rehabilitating historical buildings on Laimer Street to convert long spaces into restaurants, fluffs and shops.

It indicates a recent purchase as an example.
“I recently bought 2100 Larimer Street, it is a 1908 building, which was built as a salon and again – it seems that I love brothels – it was also an inner house, and I renew it in a new place.”
Organizers say the magic of Ballpark comes from its locally owned works.
“The great thing in this neighborhood is the business that the owner runs exclusively, most of which are small companies, and then, of course, Rochiz is also operated.”
They expect thousands of lumps to package about 21 and Larimer in the end of this week, with a part of every half a liter that helps in financing street cleaning and public art and more societal events.
“It is a great event, we got a beautiful weekend, a perfect autumn day, it was slightly cooled this weekend, the event is free, the music is great, the entertainment is fun, the people who watch them are amazing, and the beer is cold.”
The event is scheduled to take place from Friday, September 26, to Sunday, September 28, in the 21st Street and Larimer Street. Acceptance is free.
