Denver business holding fundraiser for Evergreen HS shooting victim's family

Denver (KDVR)-Denver hosts fundraising on Saturday to help support the Matthew Silverston family, a 18-year-old student who was shot on September 10 during the shooting of high school.

Orums also said that Matthew saved lives by trying to warn other students from the shooter, describing him as a hero.

“He is a magical and warm young man who deserves all our care,” said Ormeam. “It seemed to be the right thing to do. We are big in society. We are big in supporting each other. I felt correctly.

Orments do everything in its power to help and calls on society to help this week.

She says Matthew’s mother is a single mother with other children and that she is not working now, and instead she chose to stay next to her son in the hospital.
