Denver area residents hope to escape holiday weekend rain by heading into the mountains

Golden, COLO. (KDVR) – With a possible weekend, some of your plans in the Denver area may be affected by wet weather. An unfortunate timing of the rain coming to the Denver Metro area on a crowded weekend, with Colorado Rocks in the city and appears throughout the weekend in Red Rocks.

Many people were hoping to avoid rain by escaping from the mountains on Friday.

“We usually plan some of the smuggler in Colorado, as you know, wherever it is,” said Dan Lee.
