Sanders, known as coach Prime, is said to recover at his home in Texas with an “unlimited health issue”.
Sanders, 57, has struggled with his left foot since his toes were amputated in 2021 due to blood clot problems while he was in Jackson. He missed the media day in 2023, his first year in Colorado, after a procedure to remove a blood clot from the right leg and another to straighten the toes on his left foot.
