Crews rescue injured man trapped in Boyle Heights manhole after 15-foot fall

The authorities said that the emergency crews saved a man who fell about 15 feet in an opening in Boyle Heights on Saturday afternoon.

The Los Angeles Fire Fire Department said that the man, who described him about 30 years old, was besieged underground near 1172 S. Boyle Avenue around 1:20 pm

Because of the man’s location, firefighters upgraded the invitation to save the confined area, a specialized process that requires dangerous material teams to monitor the air and urban rescue and rescue crews to lift them.
