Cori Broadus is continuing to mourn the loss of her daughter, Codi, one week after her passing.
The daughter of Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to share intimate black-and-white photos and messages reflecting how she’s coping during an unimaginable time.
In one snapshot, Broadus is seen curled next to Codi, with the caption: “You were supposed to bury me… not me bury you Codi.” Another showed her resting on a couch with her daughter in her arms, writing, “I want to join you badly.”
She also posted of a video of her doting on her daughter. She wrote on the clip, “Waiting for someone to tell me to wake up and this is just a bad dream.”
On Monday, she marked one week since Codi’s passing with another photo — a close-up of her daughter’s legs. “Today makes one week without you, girl,” she wrote. “I miss you bad.”

Codi Dreaux passed away at just 10 months old. Broadus first shared the heartbreaking news on January 31, and revealed that her daughter had died on January 26, just 20 days after being released from the hospital.
“Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” she wrote at the time, alongside an angel emoji.
Her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also shared tributes to their daughter. “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux,” he wrote. “But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you.”

Last month, Cori celebrated her daughter’s release from the hospital, after her extended time in the NICU, following her premature birth.
“She’s home,” she wrote alongside the Jan. 6 Instagram post that showed snaps of her and her baby girl in bed. “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”
