Texas Rangers star shortstop and two-time World Series MVP Corey Seager has been happily married to his high school sweetheart, Madisyn, since December 5, 2020. The couple hails from Kannapolis, NC, and attended the public high school there. After graduating from high school, Seager committed to playing collegiate baseball with the University of Southern California but was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2012 instead.
Mady graduated from East Carolina University in 2018 with a degree in marketing and business administration. Even when the couple was apart, pursuing their goals and dreams, they never lost touch. Finally, they got engaged in December 2019 and married just a month after Seager lifted the Commissioner’s Trophy with the Dodgers in 2020.
Corey Seager and Madisyn Hosted a Charity Wine Event
On June 29, Seager and his wife partnered with the Uncork for a Cause Charity to raise funds for the Rangers Foundation. This was the second time the duo hosted this event, and the entire Rangers roster, the coaching staff, and their respective partners attended.
The players enjoyed the special night by tasting exclusive wines from Sonoma and Napa producers, gourmet hors d’oeuvres by The Adolphus, a silent auction for some baseball memorabilia, and tasting wine from Seager’s limited-edition Sonoma Dry Creek Valley red.
Uncork for a Cause uploaded delightful highlights from the event in an Instagram post: “Last night, Corey and Mady Seager hosted their second annual Uncork for a Cause, with proceeds benefiting the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation!”
Mady is among the biggest supporters of Seager’s endeavors on and off the diamond. The couple has been loving dog parents for many years and are expecting their first child together since announcing Mady’s pregnancy earlier this year in March. The duo happily resides in Arlington, TX, where Seager has played professional baseball with the Rangers since signing the blockbuster ten-year, $325 million deal in Dec 2021.
Corey Seager Has Been Fairly Decent With His Performances in 2025
The five-time All-Star lefty slugger has showcased consistency at the plate since moving to Texas. The Rangers’ superstar has a .244 batting average, with ten home runs, 23 RBIs, and a .772 OPS in 53 games this season. He has amassed a total of 48 hits in 197 at-bats, which include six extra-base hits. Seager is projected to hit almost 20 home runs and drive in more than 40 runs in 2025.
The Rangers are 41-44 for the campaign, acquiring the fourth spot in the AL West division. They are currently 9.5 games behind the division leaders, the Houston Astros, and are also three games behind the .500 winning percentage mark.
After losing the three-game series against the Seattle Mariners at home over the weekend, they have now welcomed the Baltimore Orioles for a three-game series and lost the series opener on Monday, 10-6. The Rangers would be hopeful of making an impact in the last two games of the series before hitting the road for ten regular-season games.
