Center Point, Texas (KXAN) – early at 9:30 am, you will find Arturo Ramon standing over a grill in the fire extinguishing section of Center Point.

Arturo Ramon volunteered his time and skills in the field of food and cooking to feed the flood volunteers hot meals in Kiir Province.

He said: “A type of Mexican play on crunchy taco sandwiches for lunch.”

Ramon owns Blanco River Meat Company in Driftwood. He said he had fill a truck filled with food and went to Kiir County as soon as she learned the extent of flood damage.

According to the latest update, the floods claimed the lives of 107 people, and three people are still missing.

“I told the community that I am committed to staying here until it ends,” he said.

It was published in the Fire Fire Department at Center Point, which was a coordination point for the volunteers.

Plash with the word "Heroes"
Ramon said he was “cooked for heroes.”

I have provided a large number of meals – from Taco to Tri -Tip – so volunteers can search and clean a hot meal before or after work.

Ramon is proud to cook for a society he calls now.

He said: “I got a central hat, I mean, I feel that I am part of it, and I even stay in one of their homes.” “I feel that everyone here is here for the same reason … they want help. This is Texas, right?”
