Colorado State Patrol holds open house to attract new candidates

Denver (KDVR) – The Colorado State Journal hosted an open house on Saturday, in the hope of bringing its following waves from the candidates.

The Open House is located at the CSP Training Academy in Golden. Fox31 got an interview with Master Tooper Timothy Suteland around the Academy’s open home, which tries to host open homes at least once in a quarter.

“It gives the applicants the opportunity to enter, verify the campus, and we see somewhat that they enter with the academy,” said Sarland.

Sarland said that students who are going through the academy are living there for about 23 weeks, and the perfect CSP category in CSP 50 is.

However, he said that it could often be a challenge even with a lot of applications, because some potential candidates may not benefit from pre -employment requirements.

“It is a roundabout, we get a lot of people who come, they tried to apply two or three times and finally get it,” said Sarland.

However, it is noted that open houses give CSP a better opportunity to get face -to -face interaction with potential candidates, in the hope that by providing individual education around the job, more people will join him in helping to maintain safe Colorado methods.

“We really encourage anyone who really wants to make a change in traffic safety in Colorado to be released.”

It also indicated that the open house was not only for those wishing to go to the positions of soldiers, as they also offered jobs and other fields.
