Denver (KDVR) – Colorado Parks and wildlife are required of the public to provide inputs to help develop an official strategy for preservation and managing.
CPW said on Wednesday that it is developing the strategy in response to the growing interest using the “As a Natural Environmental Restoration Tool”.
Coloradans can provide online inputs during the general domain limit period that will open until August 31, according to the agency.
“The joint reactions will be considered during the range of the range of domains while developing a draft barative protection and management strategy,” CPW said.
Public inputs on the draft advanced strategy will be opened in the fall, according to CPW, which said that the strategy will explore topics such as gunfire regulations, restore environmental habitats, benefits, coexistence, transition and transfer considerations.
CPW said that although the beaver activity in the “environmentally appropriate habitats” can enhance biological diversity, improve water storage and support climate elasticity, it can also create conflicts in the event of its intercourse with its habitats “with human infrastructure.
