Chiefs WR Rashee Rice Drops 3-Word Reaction On Receiving Signed Jacket From NASCAR Star Kyle Larson

The Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Rashee Rice is aiming to get back to the gridiron after missing most of the 2024 NFL season due to a lateral collateral ligament tear.

He showed up to a NASCAR race on May 11, and a week later, NASCAR driver Kyle Larson surprised Rice with a signed jacket.

Rashee Rice Elated After Receiving Kyle Larson’s Signed Jacket

Rice was at the Kansas Speedway on Sunday, May 11, alongside the Chiefs’ general manager, Brett Veach, as the special guests of NASCAR star Larson. The No.5 car driver secured a dominating NASCAR Cup Series win for the third time this season.

Larson, a huge Chiefs fan, sent Rice a signed Hendrick Motorsports racing suit and a matching hat. The Super Bowl 58 champion took to Instagram to share his happiness after receiving the gift. He posted a picture of the signed jacket and the cap with the text,

Rice visited the garages and even had a close look at the car ahead of the race. He also met other NASCAR drivers. Larson clinched the victory with a margin of 0.712 seconds as Veach and Rice watched from the stands.

After winning the Super Bowl in his rookie season, Rashee started the 2024 season on a high as well. He charted seven receptions for 103 yards in the first game of the 2024 season against the Baltimore Ravens. He was one of the most dangerous targets of star quarterback Patrick Mahomes when the Chiefs QB rolled down on Rice’s leg in the Week 4 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Further tests revealed that Rice had torn his lateral collateral ligament. Last month, the 25-year-old gave a positive health update. The medical team has given him the green light to resume his training. Rice is likely to be fully healthy and back for the next season.

Rashee played a crucial role in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 58 victory. He is the franchise record holder with the most receptions (79) and touchdowns (seven) in his rookie season. The youngster also has the most post-season receptions by a rookie in NFL history with 26 receptions.

The Chiefs’ WR corps looks incredible with Rice, Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Jalen Royals. The franchise made it to the Super Bowl last season without Rice, but couldn’t complete the historic three-peat.

Rice has 103 receptions for 1,226 yards and has scored nine touchdowns. He would fancy combining with Mahomes to bring the Vince Lombardi Trophy to Kansas City just as he did in his rookie season.
