Chevron provides update on Galeton evacuation order

KDVR – more than a month has passed since it was forced to leak from the oil and gas well in Galton’s evacuation in the surrounding area.

Chevron was provided with a statement of Fox31 on Friday about the progress of families in their homes and what the cleaning process required.

“Our priority is to get these residents who have been transferred to their homes,” said Chevron spokesman. “We continue to make good progress in making assessments for both homes, property and multiple house cleaning. Of the 14 residents who were transported half a mile from the accident, we had four final picnic operations this week, and 10 are waiting for the completion of the cleaning process.”

The cleaning process used by Chevron includes the use of water and the grouping of the grease removal. Ingredients are natural and decomposed. A mixture of dawn and water cleaner is used on the vegetation. Then the fluids are collected to get rid of them.

Chevron said that the time it takes to clean the house varies with the extent of the region’s impact badly, and as soon as the cleaning process is completed, residents can expect to enter their homes within days or weeks.

The statement said: “Chevron works individually with all the owners of the affected real estate and tenants, and provide specialized teams available personally throughout the week to help answer questions and concerns. With the realization that each characteristic requires a separate plan, we have appointed cases managers to residents to help allocate our approach and customize our approach.”

According to Chevron, approximately 7000 cubic meters of solid materials were removed from the well location as part of the initial response activities, and that the size of the recovered liquid is not equivalent to the size of the liquid that was launched from the well.

Regulatory reports prepared requirements have been submitted to Carbon Energy Management CommitteeIn addition to a plan for treatment, which is reviewed before starting.
