Fairfield, California (Crohn-In the beginning of the first decade of the twentieth century, the 50 cents sales games, called Homies, became the phenomenon of pop culture, as it acquired the essence of Chicano culture through the creative vision of the East Bay David Gonzales.
It was created by David Gonzalez, an artist from Richmond generator, and HOMES’s characters soon gained popular expressions and their distinguished style in the nineties, and she became a favorite of nostalgia over the years.
Gonzalez, who started drawing cartoons at the age of 15, was inspired by the diverse society around him, and whom he described in his art.

Despite the commercial success, Gonzalez emphasizes that his primary goal was not profit but rather the celebration of Chicano’s culture. He said: “The Mexican flag represents what is Mexico, and the passion that is Mexico,” and it highlights the cultural importance of its work.
David Gonzales is still echoing with fans all over the world, embodying the spirit of Chicano culture and vibrant diversity in the Gulf region. While Gonzales ventures on new projects, the Homies legacy is still a testimony for his artistic vision and cultural pride.
