California family struggling with death of mother, who is very much alive

The South California family lives a nightmare, dealing with the death of their 86 -year -old mother who is still alive, but not according to the US Social Security Department.

Sarah Van Luffen, a resident of Santa Monica, as a private educational teacher in the unified Los Angeles School area on April 1, 2016, the same date on which SSA is narrated as a deceased.

It is not clear how her death was announced, whether it was a human error or a computer defect, but the mixture was near a catastrophic of the survivors of the stroke, which was cleared of health insurance and health insurance systems, the bank and credit cards have been canceled, and pension payments have been withdrawn for a period of years.

They believe that the retirement teacher on April 1, 2016 may be in the confusion center.

The family was first notified of the issue in 2023 and believed that the problem was resolved until this year when they received another encrypted speech in August from the Social Security Department, which did not mention the possible disposal of Sarah from services such as Medicare and Health Insurance Systems.

The lack of information about it, according to the family, indicates that she has never been born.

Sarah, whose son John van Lofen was her main acting, says many of the pressures of chaos in which the tremendous mistake of the federal government had not fell on him.

“She was largely an ordeal,” Ktla said to Ktla. “Not much for me, but for my children and my son.”

What is more than the clay, the family said they are dealing with some government employees who do not seem to be considered a speedy critical situation.

“We are entering social security, a person says in social security,” Well, we see that it is alive in the main registry but there is this auxiliary record that still shows it as dead, “John explained. This is a threat to life for her. We will deal with all other things when this is handled. ”

As for Sarah, she said that she does not believe that the government is working urgently on the problem and that she is grateful for her children to take care of her.

“I am really lucky to have children,” she told KTLA. “Some people may not have children in my children to help take care of us.”

Van Leuvin continues the American Senator in California Alex Badilla and a member of Congress Ted Liu, both of whom responded to their help to reach the swamp.

However, the family does not know when the problem will be solved, and Sarah’s daughter, Katie Hood, ventured by guessing that she is not the only one in the country that is going through a crazy and dangerous ordeal.
