Freemont, California (KON)-The California Auto Ministry is arguing in front of an administrative judge in Auckland that Tesla has misled the drivers by exaggerating the capabilities of Automallut and full self-driving features. DMV is seeking to ban the auto -driven auto company from selling cars in the state for 30 days.
DMV accuses Tesla of wrong ads. Fifting the court’s lawsuit to the names of the “autopilot” and full self -leadership “is misleading because it only provides partial self -leadership.
Musk has been warned by federal organizers to stop claiming its cars that can drive themselves because it may cause drivers to rely on the system.
Tesla has faced a large number of lawsuits for the automated pilot system over the past five years. Each of them has been rejected or settled outside the court.
In 2023, Tesla had to remember more than two million cars for the problems of the automated pilot. The company is investigating its demand to repair the problem.
The court sessions in Auckland are expected to continue until Thursday.
