Salma, North Carolina – A family in North Carolina said that their prayers had been answered after Holly Carter, 5 -year -old, overcame a devastating diagnosis, and now they are preparing to celebrate greatly.
“It was cruel, but she really showed her strength and went out on the best side of things,” said Holly’s mother, Kelissi Ross.
In February, life turned upside down to the family when Holly was not fine.

“It was just the best feeling in the world,” said Ross. “I couldn’t stop crying. I couldn’t stop thanking God for everything.”
Holly and her family are now celebrating their victory over cancer with a trip to the Walt Disney world, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Ross said: “It breaks my heart that she had to go through it to reach what we are in, but I am forever grateful to make it.” “They were patient, very kind and understanding.”
