(KRON) – An English bulldog named Tyson was stolen from his owner at knifepoint in Vallejo on Oct. 17, according to the Vallejo Police Department.
The owner was walking his dog near the corner of Marine and Kentucky streets around 11:45 p.m. when two suspects approached them and threatened them with a knife.
“The suspects took the victim’s wallet, which contained $100, and his English bulldog,” Vallejo police said. “They then fled in a white four-door sedan believed to be a Honda Accord.”
Tyson is described as white with a beige color on his back. He is not microchipped or neutered.
A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the dog’s safe return. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Vallejo PD.
The victim provided the following descriptions of the suspects:
- Suspect #1: White adult male, tall, wearing a gray hat. He had long black hair tied into a ponytail. He was wearing a gray shirt and black pants.
- Suspect #2: Adult Hispanic female with dark skin, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
