A brush fire fought that broke out overnight in the Lipick area of more than 100 acres, as it floundered on the grapes on Thursday morning.
The accident was first reported on the side heading south of the 5th Highway near the Fort Tigon road shortly before 11:30 pm on Wednesday.
By four in the morning, the fire burned 133 acres, according to Kerne County extinguishing management.
At least one lane for traffic south was closed by grapes due to fire. The video showed a group of cars backed across the area from 4:30 am
“Expect the delay if this is part of your planned movements. Give emergency sets a lot of space to work with, thanks!” the The California Highway patrol was published on X.
The evacuation warning was released to the Digiery Canyon area in Lebec. The residents were urged to prepare in the event of their demands to leave. “The situation can change very quickly, and the vision may be reduced in the area and the roads can become blocked,” a message on Readykern Read.
Fire officials said the fire was 5 % content and that a helicopter was on its way to help fight fires.
There was no primary word about what might cause fire.
