Brothers bike 5,500 miles from Alaska to Texas to raise money for charity with stop in Bay Area

Napa, California (Crohn) – If you are in Napa on Tuesday, you may have seen a large red stroller with drivers ride behind him. These two drivers are two brothers, a 5500 -mile trip to collect money for charity. Kron4 caught with them while they stopped in the northern Gulf.

As RV says, two brothers from Texas are caught their way from Alaska to their home in Texas, and they do so on bicycles. Not only because it is a beautiful journey, but to raise money for important reasons.

“We crossed 3000 miles yesterday,” said Bobby Jenkins, who runs from Alaska to Texas.

After covering Bobby and Genkens Rally in the middle of the road, she covered a lot of land.

“It is incredible. Mountains, clouds. The only thing we did not think is mosquitoes,” Bobby said.

Traveling from Ancorag, Alaska to Austin, Texas, and do everything on bicycles.

The brothers made a similar trip eight years ago from Seattle to New York. But this trip is easily and more difficult yet – stopping in Napa on Tuesday to talk about charities that collect money for it.

One is children with hunger in Haiti.

Rally said: “We were about two months, and the comment that was made on my heart was” Thank you not to forget us. ”

The second reason strikes closer home.

Bobby’s grandson, Moss, died in 2014 due to a state of sudden, unjustified in childhood.

Bobby said: “He was completely good, and he went to his morning and never woke up and came to know about this for about 400-600 children in this country, and he is not interpreted.”

They hope their donations will help find an explanation and prevent more deaths in children. Cycling is the best way to know these two how to raise awareness of the two reasons.

Interviewing strangers along the way and sharing their story one mile at one time. You can donate to the case of Jenkins on Website.
