Brittany Eady Hits Back at Insurance Fraud Accusations and Reveals Her Licensing Details!
Brittany Eady is setting the record straight following swirling rumors about her professional credentials and personal integrity.
During a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, tensions rose between Brittany Eady and fellow newcomer Angela Oakley, who is also a licensed insurance agent. The conversation took a sharp turn when Angela brought up speculation that Brittany may be at risk of losing her insurance license.
“Based on what?” Angela asked, appearing skeptical.
She continued, “In order to lose the license, there has to be cause. Brittany, to be honest, this energy, this is a peace offering—you’re not coming in peace. You failed to take responsibility for how we even got here.”
As the moment escalated, production moved Angela away from Brit in an effort to calm the situation. After the episode aired, Brit took to Threads to clarify her side of the story and directly respond to Angela’s comments.
“If you tuned into last night’s episode of #RHOA I mentioned my license was under investigation, not lost,” she wrote. “Mortgage loan officers are not versed on licensed insurance agents, it’s a completely different field of work.”
Brittany emphasized that, because her role involves public trust, any claims of fraud must be reviewed thoroughly. “When your job is of public trust, it’s important to investigate claims of fraud,” she noted. She ended her message with a confident, “#classdismissed #stillgotloveforhertho.”
In a follow-up message, Brittany gave further insight into how public perception can affect professional status in today’s digital age. “Hey, Insurance agent here,” she wrote.
“I think it’s important that what happens in our personal lives can affect our professional lives. I’m no stranger to that. I’ve seen so many cases online where people have been fired from their jobs from behavior due to social media access or camera phones.”
Despite Brit’s clarifications, online speculation hasn’t let up. Some fans have accused her of doing “insurance fraud,” a term also echoed by Real Housewives alum Claudia Jordan, who claimed she had her doubts about Brittany’s legitimacy.
Meanwhile, Kenya Moore has reportedly questioned Brit’s professional background on and off-camera, further fueling the rumor mill.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
