((Newsnation– A boy in Canada has discovered a stunning wreck of the ship nearly two centuries ago, Reports say.
In 2023, the 8 -year -old Lucas Atchison was on a family trip to Point Farms Provincial Park in Ontario when he found a small steel height with his metal revelation, a birthday gift.
A connected height was found with a piece of wood and had several other mutations. More inspection revealed that nails and wood were part of a shattered ship.
Athenson and his family reported the discovery of Park and Volunteer Group, the Maritime Heritage Committee in Ontario.
This week, the excavation began, according to CBC News.
Archaeologists have found that the ship is likely to be an old sailboat. Old sailing ships were mast, wooden sailing ships with double tires.
Researchers are now making graphics for the ship’s debris from different angles to determine the bowl. They also evaluate the catalogs that separate insurance requirements for ships from the nineteenth century.
Although it was not yet clear which ship had discovered by Lucas, the marine historian Patrick Volks told CBC News that there is already a major candidate – St. Anthony.
