Ready for summer! Amanda Holden gave fans a glimpse of her dreamy home renovations. The Britain’s Got Talent judge shared a peek of the new design layout of her garden, and fans can’t stop talking about it.
In a recent Instagram video, a massive pool and outdoor area could be seen along with palm trees, paving stones and a seating area underneath a pergola. The video panned to show an overview of what the entire backyard will look like after the renovation. It looks like Amanda’s backyard and garden will be transformed into the perfect space for entertaining and hosting pool parties!
“Sneak peak of our future garden design. So excited for the work to start this summer with @iconiclandscapesuk & @ie_home_exteriors. You may spot CGI me in a bikini,” Amanda, 54, captioned the post, referring to the image of her holding a cocktail while standing in the pool in a bikini.
“Living the dream,” one person commented on the post.
“Looks gorgeous!” another commented.
“Wow would love a version of this in my garden, beautiful,” another said, while others filled the comments section with fire emojis and heart eyes emojis.
Amanda lives with her husband, Chris Hughes, in a house in Cobham in Surrey, England. The pair are parents to two kids, Lexi, 19, and Hollie, 13. She previously revealed what she and her husband like to do in their downtime amid their busy schedules.
“I’ve been married for over 20 years. Well, I met him in 2003, I can’t work it out. Anyway, a long time, and our lives have been very separate for a long time because we’re both very busy. We do lots of things separately,” she said during an episode of her radio show. “I love my Peloton and running, he goes and plays squash. He’s got a massive career as well. We’re always separate, you know.”
After showing off her renovation plans, Amanda shared a swimsuit photo the following day on Instagram. The media personality wore a yellow and white striped bathing suit and a visor along with a pair of sunglasses to shield her eyes from the sun. She sat in a chair covered in a yellow and white striped towel that matched her swimsuit. A pool could be seen in the background.

When she’s not showing off her incredible looks by the pool on Instagram, Amanda is hard at work as season 18 of Britain’s Got Talent is currently underway. The finale of the reality talent competition series, in which she serves as a judge, will air on May 31. Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli also have been serving as judges this season.
Simon, 65, reflected on how successful the franchise has been over the years with its rotating panel of judges and, of course, the public’s opinion.
“You always hope and pray that the casting and the people who come on the show are going to be more interesting, different and make you feel emotional,” the entertainment mogul said, per The Independent. “And hats off to the team, who find these people from all over the world. When I’m watching it back, you see how much it means to them. It’s a real blast.”
Amanda also reflected on how much the show has changed throughout 18 seasons.
“I had a child who was 1 years old when I started, and now they are at university. So that’s when I see an embodiment of what that looks like,” she said.
