Ben Shelton and his girlfriend, American professional soccer player Trinity Rodman, have been enjoying their time together during the former World No. 5’s break from tennis between tournaments. Recently, the couple enjoyed their time together by taking a luxurious Lamborghini for a drive.
Shelton and Rodman have been dating for nearly a year, having made their relationship public in March 2025. Rodman plays as a forward for the U.S. national team and competes for the Washington Spirit in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

Most recently, Shelton competed at the 2026 Dallas Open, where he defeated Taylor Fritz to win the tournament. Before Dallas, he participated in the Australian Open, where he won against Ugo Humbert, Dane Sweeny, Valentin Vacherot, and Casper Ruud before losing to Jannik Sinner in the quarterfinals.
During the Melbourne Major, photographer Josh Tu captured a series of videos of Shelton in action, including during practice and training. Tu took to social media and shared these videos of Shelton at the Grand Slam tournament.
Reacting to Tu’s videos of Shelton at the Australian Open, Rodman expressed her love for the former World No. 5, calling him “hot.”
“He’s hot 😊,” Rodman commented.
Just hours after commenting on the videos, Rodman and Shelton went for a scenic drive in a Lamborghini.
At the Dallas Open, Shelton defeated Gabriel Diallo, Adrian Mannarino, Miomir Kecmanović, and defending champion Denis Shapovalov to advance to the final. There, he overcame top seed Fritz with a scoreline of 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, winning the tournament and claiming the fourth ATP Tour title of his career.
Where Will Shelton Compete Next?
Shelton was next scheduled to compete at the 2026 Mexican Open in Acapulco; however, he withdrew from the tournament to focus on recovery.
Looking ahead, Shelton is set to compete at the 2026 Indian Wells Masters, which will take place from March 4 to March 15, 2026. The main draw matches will be held on the outdoor hard courts at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
Along with Shelton, players such as Carlos Alcaraz, Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Novak Djokovic, Fritz, Lorenzo Musetti, Félix Auger-Aliassime, and Alex de Minaur, among others, are also expected to compete at the ATP Masters 1000 hard-court tournament in California.
Last year, Shelton was seeded 11th at the Indian Wells Masters, beginning his campaign in the second round after receiving a first-round bye. He defeated Mariano Navone in his opening match and then eliminated 22nd seed Karen Khachanov and 32nd seed Brandon Nakashima in the third and fourth rounds, respectively. His campaign ended in the quarterfinals with a loss to the eventual champion, 13th seed Jack Draper.
