Bay Area prepares for 'No Kings' day of protest

San Francisco (Kron) – A week after the protests against the United States for Migration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Trump administration, more measures are planned this week through the Gulf region.

Unlimited SF helps organize “La Kings” protests on Saturday around the Gulf region. The popular group said that it is concerned about the recent measures conducted by the Trump administration, ice, customs and the protection of the American border, and plans these events to respond.

“The Trump administration wants to suppress the opposition members and extract members of society outside the streets, and we say non -violently not,” Peter Husi, with a non -divided SF.

Last week, thousands of people attended marches across the Gulf region. While these protests were largely peaceful, there were some acts of violence and sabotage, as hundreds of people were arrested or arrested.

Husi said that the organizers of the weekends this week were in contact with law enforcement and city leaders to ensure the emergence of protests, as they encouraged violence and sabotage.

Throughout the past week, city leaders and law enforcement around the Gulf region said that they would allow people to express their rights to freedom of expression, but it will not be tolerated with sabotage and violence.

Hossi says they do not know the number of people who will attend this week, but they expect a great turnout, and they are optimistic that things will go smoothly.

“We want to get a nice and empowering atmosphere,” Hossi said.

The San Francisco Rally is scheduled to start at 11:30 am on Saturday at Dolores Park, and the Oakland Rally at Welma Chan Park begins at 12:45 pm, and San Jose’s protest begins at noon in St. James Park along North Verrest Street.
