((Crohn– The Gulf Region Library destroyed its own record of the annual summer learning program. In the city of San Jose, more than 10,000 people participated in the Saint Jose Library, which is 13 % in readers last year.
The program, which lasts from June 1 to July 31, provides children and adults free books. According to the city, more than 2,400 books were presented to ensure access to reading materials during the summer vacation.
The library has an ambitious goal of achieving more than four million minutes, reading by the end of the summer. In the first three weeks of June, the Foundation recorded more than 40,000 books and read nearly 700,000 minutes.
The San Jose Library says that the 80 -year -old program has expanded “its programs and prizes and booked gifts to combat the summer segment with young students.” The summer segment is “learning loss that affects students during long academic rest periods.”
Football equipment, external spacecraft, an antique record player, and tickets for San Jose Parkquakes and Bay FC are among the awards for this program.
SJPL also includes more than 200 educational and interactive event hosted on all 25 San Jose Public Library sites.
