Aurora family seeks answers in suspected act of arson

Watskins, Colorado (KDVR) – Aurora’s family picks up the pieces after destroying their small works, while firefighters believe it was a deliberate work.

The family said that three concrete trucks belonging to their work, “transported one of the roads”, were destroyed in a fire on August 23. The owners of Lewis and Abej Kizada are asking to help society find the responsible person.

“I am not sure, which might make someone up to this point, as you know, wants to try to end the livelihood of someone,” said Luis Koizada, who founded a transport company in 2020.

The couple woke up through a phone call at 2 o’clock in late August, from a friend who informed them that the trucks were burning. By the time Louis reached the parking lot, the three targeted vehicles were destroyed.

Monitoring footage of the scene shows a person on the property before the fire starts.

“There is a picture where they carry a box, they have a jug in their hands, and they set fire to the cabin.” “So anything from the cabin forward, engines, covers, everything has just gone and destroyed.”

The Adams Sharif County Office is now investigating the accident, but he could not share the details, according to the department’s spokesman. Fire officials believe that the act was deliberate.

Quezadas said the financial damage was a major blow. They said that the trucks, which are worth about $ 50,000 to $ 80,000, were not covered by insurance due to the damage to the intentional burning.

Now with less trucks on the road, the family is forced to dispense with employees and work by only 75 % of their natural income.

“We started to grow our family, and the work was working well,” said Abigil Koizada. “These are the things you don’t think will happen overnight.”

More than money, the couple said that the accident was a great scary for them and their five children. With their safety in mind, the family doubles the Colorado extinguishing bonus to obtain information that leads to arrest, up to a total of $ 10,000.

“We felt very anxious about our safety,” said Abyel. “I feel if anyone is ready to do this in a company, who knows what they will do.”

The family has also started GofundMe to help cover fire -related costs.
