Aryna Sabalenka Now ‘Definitely’ Part of Boyfriend’s Family As His Mother Releases Adorable Update

Aryna Sabalenka recently received an adorable update from her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis’ mother, Ana Helena Puccetti, who revealed that the World No. 1 was now “definitely a part” of their family. Sabalenka and Frangulis have been together for over a year, having been first spotted together during the 2024 Madrid Open.

Frangulis is a Greek-Brazilian entrepreneur who founded the açaí superfoods brand Oakberry, for which Sabalenka became an ambassador in January 2024. Earlier this year, he also invested in the French Ligue 2 club, Le Mans FC, alongside Novak Djokovic and Formula 1 drivers Felipe Massa and Kevin Magnussen.

Following her campaign in Riyadh, the four-time singles Grand Slam champion vacationed in the Maldives with Frangulis and then visited Brazil, his home country, where she spent time with his family.

Recently, Frangulis’ mother, Puccetti, took to social media and shared a montage of various pictures and videos of Sabalenka enjoying time with their family in Brazil. She heartwarmingly stated that the Belarusian was “a part” of their family.

“There are families that are fighting… ours is a ‘puppy’ and Aryna is definitely a part of our family! 🥰 💜 🧿 🫶🏼,” Puccetti captioned her Instagram post (translated from Portuguese).

Reacting to Puccetti’s post about Sabaenka being part of her family, Frangulis and his brother, Pedro Frangulis, expressed their love by commenting several purple heart emojis.

“💜 💜 💜,” Frangulis commented.

“😍 💜,” Pedro commented.

The 2025 tennis season was one of the best years of Sabalenka’s career. She won four titles: the 2025 Brisbane International, two WTA 1000 titles (the Miami Open and the Madrid Open), and a Grand Slam title at the US Open. She also finished as the runner-up at both the Australian Open and the French Open, and reached the semifinals at Wimbledon.

Sabalenka To Begin 2026 Season at Brisbane International

Looking ahead, Sabalenka will begin her 2026 season at the Brisbane International, which is scheduled to take place from January 4 to January 11, 2026. The WTA 500 hard-court tournament will be held on the outdoor hard courts at the Queensland Tennis Centre in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Next year, Sabalenka will enter the WTA 500 hard-court tournament as the defending champion, having won the title in 2025. She was the top seed and began her campaign in the second round after receiving a first-round bye.

In her opening match, the four-time Grand Slam singles champion defeated Renata Zarazúa 6-4, 6-0, and then triumphed over 15th seed Yulia Putintseva in the third round, winning 7-6(2), 6-4. In the quarterfinals, she eliminated Marie Bouzková 6-3, 6-4 before overcoming eighth seed Mirra Andreeva 6-3, 6-2 in the semifinals.

In the championship match, Sabalenka defeated qualifier Polina Kudermetova 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 to win the tournament, securing her 18th career WTA Tour singles title.
