Austin (KXAN)-Summoning all local artists: The city of Austin said it is looking for artists and teams led by artists to help cooperation, design, manufacture and install new general artistic opportunities.
According to the city, its artistic program in public places (AIPP) was looking to add artistic facilities around the Austin Bergstrom International Airport.
The city said: “For dozens of millions of travelers, we will serve annually, technical facilities throughout the airport participate in the nature of Austin and the city’s vision for the future. With this vision expanding with the flight with the expansion of AUS airport, as well as our art.”
AIPP The third stage Opportunities include facilities in:
- Bathroom entries (9 groups)
- Comfort halls (x2)
- Children’s distances (x2)
“Together, art and music provides a collective experimental language of originality and creativity that speaks uniquely to Austin Vepe,” says Constance White, music manager in the field of guest services at the airport. “Whether arriving or leaving, our passengers are transported with unforgettable impressions of the amazing spirit of Austin and the desire to return across the airport to see and hear and be part of our atmosphere.”
The artist’s requests must be submitted by March 31, according to the city.
These general technical opportunities are funded through airport revenues and revenue degrees, according to the city.
