Two jewelry store owners in Southeast Los Angeles Province continue to capture pieces from robbery simultaneously earlier this week.
On Friday, the Los Angeles County Administration released the latest information on theft on July 1 in Artsia, as well as estimates about the total damage it incurred when dozens of convincing thieves stormed the two companies with the hammers and balls.
Sharif administration officials estimated that the losses are more than one million dollars.
The targeted companies were identified as Watch Palace and Aber Jewellers, which are located in the same shopping center in the Pioneer Boulevard 18500 building.
KTLa witnesses earlier this week that between 20 and 30 masked people entered the two companies at the same time, they destroyed the glass doors, windows, display situations and stealing the largest possible number of elements that they could be able to seize under one minute.
The video showed that chaos is revealed inside a store, as many people swing to the hammers randomly and causing great damage to small business.
“It was very painful for us and I do not know how we will deal with it,” the store owner said in an interview with KTLA.
LASD says the investigation is still going on, and its investigators said, “They are working hard to identify the suspects and arrest them.”
