ANGELA BASSETT AND COURTNEY B. VANCE ATTEND PARIS FASHION SHOW WITH THEIR TWINS

Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance made a fashionable appearance in Paris on July 8 alongside their kids.

The couple stepped out with their 19-year-old twins, Bronwyn Golden and Slater Josiah, for the Stéphane Rolland Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025/2026 show.

The family made a stylish statement at the fashion event, each putting their own spin on elegant eveningwear. Bassett stunned in a deep brown gown with a dramatic asymmetrical silhouette while Vance complemented her look in an off-white suit, styled with brown shoes, a matching polka dot pocket square, and a fedora trimmed in brown.

Their daughter Bronwyn opted for a bold look in a dark coral one-shoulder dress, and Slater added an edgy touch in black trousers, shiny black shoes, and a white distressed shirt with lace accents.

Bassett and Vance welcomed Bronwyn and Slater on January 27, 2006, via surrogate.

In a 2007 interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Vance recalled having a vivid dream years earlier about becoming a father to twins. “I didn’t know how it was going to happen,” he said at the time.

The idea of surrogacy came into focus after a close friend shared that she and her husband were expecting through a surrogate. “She began to tell me about the idea of surrogacy,” Bassett explained. “The more we learned about it, the more we began to think that perhaps this was an answer for us.”

When the twins were born, Bassett called it a powerful moment. “Just standing there together, holding each other with the realization that this is the moment that we’ve been working toward, praying for,” she said. “It’s a dream come true.”

Now young adults, Bronwyn and Slater are stepping into the spotlight with their parents and bringing their own sense of style along with them.
