Amanda Anisimova has recently shared her admirable reaction to Karolína Muchová’s glimpse with her Qatar Open title, which she clinched after defeating the American-Canadian rising star, Victoria Mboko.

Amanda Anisimova and Others Shower Praises As Karolína Muchová Ends Title Drought in Doha

Muchová, who entered the Qatar TotalEnergies Open, a WTA 1000 tournament, as the 14th seed, displayed dominant performances throughout her campaign. She defeated talents, including Jaqueline Cristian, Tereza Valentová, Karolína Plíšková, World No. 28 Anna Kalinskaya, and Maria Sakkari in the semifinal to reach the title match.

In the final, she faced the 19-year-old, who was aiming to clinch her second WTA 1000 title; her first came at the 2025 Canadian Open, where she defeated Naomi Osaka, the World No. 15. Muchová, in straight sets, defeated Mboko with a concluding score of 6-4, 7-5 in 1 hour and 34 minutes to win the second title of her career.

At the Qatar Open, the Czech star ended her title drought, her last title coming in 2019, when she beat Magda Linette in the final of the KEB Hana Bank Korea Open.

Through her recent Instagram post, Muchová shared heartwarming glimpses from her win and revealed a selfie featuring her donning a casual chic outfit, a black blazer, and a black top, and holding the Golden Falcon Trophy in a relaxed posture. In the caption, she added, “Been a while..Doha 🦅🤍 #2.”

To which Anisimova, the defending champion at the Qatar Open, who retired from her round of 32 match against Plíšková due to health reasons, added, “The selfie with the bird > 🔥.”

Apart from Anisimova, the retired French star, Garcia shared her thoughts, expressing, “So happy for you! Well deserved 🏆 👏,” and Jabeur, the Tunisian talent, mentioned, “👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

The Slovak player Rebecca Šramková wrote to Muchová, “👏👏👏🙌,” and the Czech star, Marie Bouzková, added, “Joooo💪🏼💪🏼😍.” She had ended her Qatar Open campaign with a round of 64 loss to Mboko.
