Yankees icon Alex Rodriguez attended the 2025 FOX Upfront event on Monday afternoon. This event is conducted by FOX Sports annually, which highlights the sporting events, news, and various other programs planned and scheduled for the upcoming calendar year. A-Rod was joined by many other sports stars from different sporting fields alongside some famous Hollywood celebrities.
A day before it was Mother’s Day, and people from all around the globe penned heartfelt wishes and shared endearing memories for all the mothers out there. Rodriguez also shared an Instagram post in which he wished a Happy Mother’s Day to all the influential women in his and his daughters’, Natasha and Ella’s, lives.

Rodriguez shared a social media post on Sunday that showcased delightful family images of himself with his mother, Lourdes; his kids with their mother, Cynthia Scurtis; his kids with his current girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro; and even Cordeiro’s girls, Bella and Savanah, with A-Rod and his daughters.
The caption of the post captured the entire highlight of his life and the role of all these women in his and his children’s lives. The caption read, “Happy Mother’s Day! I feel so blessed to have such strong, beautiful, and loving mothers in my life. I feel so lucky to have a blended family and raise my daughters surrounded by so many great role models. Thank you to all the moms out there that make the world a better place.”
On Monday, Rodriguez had also shared an image on his Instagram story that showcased some of the biggest names in US sports history sharing the frame at the 2025 FOX Upfront event. Since retiring from the MLB in 2016, A-Rod has turned himself into a full-fledged businessman.
The former Yankees infielder had founded his company, A-Rod Corp, in 1996 and started making his first investments with the firm in 2003. Later, he also founded two real estate firms, Newport Property Construction in 2008 and Monument Capital Management in 2012. A-Rod is on the ascendancy with the diversified investments he has made via A-Rod Corp, and still continues to grow his business portfolio.

In 2021, a group led by Rodriguez and his business partner Marc Lore successfully bid to acquire majority stakes in the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Minnesota Lynx. After the duo purchased 40% stakes in either team, the current owner, Glen Taylor, backed out of the deal, citing delays in officially registering the bid.
A legal battle ensued, and the group, including A-Rod and his team, won the case, which meant now Taylor would be selling the remaining stakes in both the teams for a pre-agreed price of $1.5 billion. Becoming a successful NBA and WNBA team owner will be yet another achievement in the business success story of A-Rod.
