Katie Boulter has expressed her admiration for her fiancé and fellow tennis star Alex de Minaur after he exited the 2025 Wimbledon Championships in the fourth round.
Taking to Instagram shortly after his hard-fought loss, Boulter expressed her pride and support.

This year marked the Australian’s seventh main-draw appearance at SW19 and his third trip to the fourth round. The 11th seed stormed through the early stages of the tournament with dominant wins over Roberto Carballés Baena, Arthur Cazaux, and August Holmgren.
But in the Round of 16, he faced seven-time champion Novak Djokovic in a center court showdown. After a promising start where de Minaur took the first set 6-1, Djokovic roared back to win 1-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4.

Shortly after de Minaur’s defeat, Boulter took to her Instagram stories to honor his performance. She posted a photo of him during the match and wrote, “So proud, so inspired by this man.”
In the following story, she shared a video clip of de Minaur leaving the center court to a standing ovation from the crowd.
Boulter, who was in attendance for the match on center court, watched her partner give his all in one of the sport’s most iconic arenas. The British No. 1 also had her own share of highs and lows during the tournament.
She stunned ninth seed Paula Badosa in the opening round with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 victory, only to fall in the second round to lucky loser Solana Sierra, 6-7(7), 6-2, 6-1. Despite her early exit, Boulter remained a supportive presence for her fiancé throughout the tournament.
De Minaur Reflects on How He and Fiancée Katie Boulter Lean on Each Other After Losses
In an interview with Tennis Channel, De Minaur discussed how he and fiancée Boulter support each other through tough losses on tour.
“We have got each other’s backs through the good and the bad,” de Minaur said. “I feel the tough moments, she feels the tough moments as well.”
The Aussie shared that his top priority after Boulter’s recent loss was to support her. “You kind of just have to try your best to get through them together,” he added.
Boulter stands by De Minaur whenever he’s going through tough times. “When I have had some tough losses, that’s exactly what she does for me,” he added. “We help each other, we try to bring the best out of each other. It is a very difficult situation to deal with.”
