Hong Kong – The flight of India returned to Hong Kong on Monday, shortly after taking off due to a technical problem in the air, days after another of flights and killed at least 270 people.

Air India said in a statement that the plane heading to New Delhi landed in Hong Kong safely and was undergoing checks “as an abundant backup issue.” The Airport Authority, Hong Kong, said in a separate statement that the AI315 flight returned to the South Chinese city airport around 1 pm

The plane was a Dreamliner, the same as the flight model to London, which struck a hostel at the College of Medicine in a residential area in the northwestern Indian city of Ahmedabad, minutes after taking off on Thursday. The accident was killed 241 people on board and at least 29 on the ground. One passenger survived.

The holder of India said that alternative arrangements were taken to fly the injured passengers to their destination as soon as possible.
