Austin – HUMANE Heroes Texas, alongside Killeen Animal Services and a few other rescue operations, works to find homes of about 65 dogs discovered in Coryll County on Friday.
The Texas Heiman heroes said that the pets came from a “overcrowded” and “she lived in severe neglect.” Many animals were suffering from malnutrition and needed to care, according to the rescue.
Volunteers and employees worked to create dog homes and supplies for dogs, and the Texas Heiman heroes said that they welcomed 10 dogs in shelter that still needs medical care.
The Texas Heiman Champions said that the employees will return on Sunday to save more dogs. Corel is northwest of Temple, Texas.
“This is a comprehensive effort on two floors and tremendous pressure on our resources,” said Jain and Yensonant, the chief development official of Texas, Texas Champions. “We want to help the largest possible number of these animals, but we need to support society to achieve this.”
