A.J. Brown Calls Out Eagles’ Offense, Explains His ‘Frustration’ in Passionate Rant

The Philadelphia Eagles improved to 7-2 with their win on Monday Night Football over the Green Bay Packers. You would think the vibes around the team would be high, and everyone would be happy with the team’s results thus far. However, that has not been the case with wide receiver A.J. Brown. He has not had a productive season and has spoken out about his lack of impact on the offense.

A.J. Brown Frustrated with Eagles’ Offense

Despite winning on Monday, the Eagles only scored 10 points, and Brown caught two passes for 13 yards. He has been a non-factor in the Eagles’ offense this season and is on pace for the worst statistical season since joining the Eagles in 2022.

Brown recently went on Twitch and was asked about how everything is going in his life. According to Nick Earnshaw, Brown said, “No. Where have you been? Like family good yea, everything else no… it’s been a sh*t show.”

The three-time Pro Bowler recently talked to reporters about the Eagles’ offense, saying, “If we’re really focused on winning and doing our job, we just can’t keep slapping a band-aid over defense doing their job and getting us out of trouble. At what point are we gonna pick up our slack as an offense…and that’s what I’m getting at.”

Brown knows that scoring 10 points in a game rarely results in a win. If the Eagles are serious about returning to the Super Bowl, they need to make significant improvements to their offense.

Eagles Still Looking for an Identity

The Eagles aim to be a run-first team, but their run game has not been effective this season. Saquon Barkley is having a down year, averaging only 3.9 yards per carry and having only one game with over 100 rushing yards.

With the run game struggling, the Eagles try to become more pass-happy, and that has worked on occasion, but Jalen Hurts is not a quarterback you want throwing 30+ times a game. Both of the Eagles’ losses this season have come when Hurts has attempted 30+ passes.

There is no question the Eagles are happy to be 7-2. However, their offense leaves a lot to be desired, and that could be what derails them from back-to-back Super Bowls.
