Chrisean Rock got emotional while speaking about her baby and co-parenting with rapper Blueface.
In a new interview with The Danza Project, the reality star and rapper opened up about her son, Chrisean Jesus, and the deep personal transformation she’s undergone since becoming a mother.
“He’s great. He’s growing,” Rock said when asked how her son is doing. She explained that she’s been intentional about protecting his privacy.
“I’ve been keeping him off the internet on purpose,” she said. “I mean, I show him, but I don’t know. I just like to prove everybody wrong.”
Addressing online speculation about her son’s health, Chrisean firmly stated, “There’s nothing wrong with my son.”
The Baddies alum also reflected on her time in jail as a pivotal moment that allowed her to reset mentally. “I had three—three months to reset my mental, everything,” she shared. “I don’t even think I was me mentally ready. Like, I was ready ‘cause I love hard, but I was broken and I felt like I had nothing left.”
She also admitted that her situation with Blueface had made things even harder. “The [ __ ] I was going through with his father— it wasn’t making anything better,” she said. “So I know it was getting scary for me. So I feel like going to jail was like—I needed time to like let it all register and heal.”
Despite the emotional hurdles, Chrisean sees her ability to forgive as a sign of growth. “I do forgive him,” she said, adding that it’s the Holy Spirit that gives her that strength. “‘Cause I didn’t like the Charles Barkley joke. I didn’t like [him] posting his genitals on Twitter.”
Blueface previously denied being the father of Chrisean Jesus, suggesting the child looked more like Charles Barkley. He also came under fire for sharing an explicit photo of their son on social media.
As for future plans, Chrisean didn’t shy away from talking about expanding her family. “Eventually, I want 12 kids,” she said, noting that her own mom had 12 children. When the host joked about having that many kids in today’s economy, Chrisean stayed firm: “Imma have a whole lot of space.”
