ASAN – The Texas Longhorns team for soft ball has ended its regular season with a series of Kentuccy series and heading to the Southeast Conference in Athens, Georgia, as the number 3 on Thursday.
As four seeds from the top, Texas gets the first two days of the championship and start playing at 4 pm on Thursday, and perhaps against the sixth seeded Florida, or the eleventh seeded or fourteenth seed. Ole Miss and Missouri meets on Tuesday in the first round, with the winner of Gators in the second round on Wednesday.
Winning in the quarter -finals can be a battle in the semi -finals between Longhorns and Texas A & M, the second seed, assuming that they also win the quarter -finals match. This will be the first time that Lone Star Showdown has met this season.
Oklahoma is the first seeded in the tournament, where Tennessee won goodbye from the other round as the number 4.
Texas finished 16-8 seconds and was the best strike at the conference with an average of 0.356 over its entire season. During the SEC play, the Longhorns was the only team at the conference as the average beating was over 300 at 309.
The first three rounds of the championship will be broadcast on the SEC network, with the semi -finals on the ESPN2. The tournament game will be on ESPN at 4 pm, on Saturday. The championship winner gets the SEC automatic show of the NCAA championship.
