1 found dead from gunshot near Leadville Wednesday, police investigating

Denver (KDVR) – The person is under investigation by the Lake Sharif County Office, the Colorado Investigation Office, and the Fifth Judicial Prosecutor Office, according to a statement issued on Thursday.

The officials said that a victim died on Wednesday, April 30, after the police received a 911 call at approximately 5:52 pm, who were reported to be a gunshot wound. The agency did not provide any details about the victim’s identity, but extended sympathy for the family and the victim’s loved ones.

The caller said that the person was in the Mountain Valley Esttes area, a mobile neighborhood at home near Ivs Golsh, north of Lidelville.

When the authorities reached the scene, they found a dead victim. The law has reported that they believe that the shooting is an isolated accident and said that there is no known threat to society.

“With the progress of the investigation, we will continue to share updates with society while respecting the sensitive and continuous nature of the issue,” Lake Sharif County Office said in a statement.
