Denver (KDVR) – The Lincoln County Deputy Office launched his weapon at a car fled from the officers on Friday afternoon regarding the investigation of drugs, according to the Colorado state patrol.
CSP said in a press statement that the accident started at about one o’clock on Friday evening in Loag-N-Jug located in 707 Main Street in lemon. The Sharif office and the Lemon Police Department were trying to contact three suspects in a car when the driver tried to escape.
The agency said that the driver reversed the suspected car in a periodic car, then drove towards the Deputy Office of the Lincoln Province, who was standing outside his nearby car. The deputy launched his weapon and hit the suspect, according to CSP.
CSP said that one of the suspects associated with the car had left the car earlier and was arrested in LOAF-N-Jug, but the other suspects were still in the car while getting away. The agency said that the suspect also hit the passer -by car while leaving the car park.
The Limon Sharif County Office, the Limon Police Department and the CSP car followed the car west on the main street, where a deputy “interfered in the tactical vehicles” to stop the suspects near the intersection of the main street and the 24th highway. After stopping the car, the passenger surrendered without any other accident.
However, CSP said that the driver refused to leave the car and offered a pistol to the officers. A thunderbolt gun used the suspect, removed the second officer, the driver, and took it to the reservation. The suspect was transferred to a local hospital, where he is receiving treatment due to the injuries he sustained during the accident, according to the police.
Since one of the officers launched his weapon, the sharp response team to the judicial zone 23 leads the investigation of the shots launched. The Lincoln County County Office is led by the Criminal Investigation.
