Unions urge workers to fight back against mass firings

(Colorado Springs) – On Thursday, May 1, hundreds of Colorado Springs hall gathered to Mark on May, or International Workers Day, and to protest against President Donald Trump and others to reduce the federal workforce.

The Day of International Workers is to honor the workers who were attacked and killed by the police when protesting the day of eight hours, while it became known as the Haymer 1886 massacre.

The protests focused on the opposition of the president and a billionaire supporter such as Elon Musk, who led government efficiency of the federal workforce. Various union members talked about how the Labor Party is organized to respond locally and nationally.

“Throughout the year, we will do some training or workshops for people to learn how to hold a basic organizational conversation and how their organizing committee accumulates, and then we hope that we can hand them over to the staff union organizer who can take them the rest of the road towards obtaining a contract and dignity at work,” said Harry Mangs, the workers ’project chair Colorado, said.

Gatherings were held throughout the country and in countries like Brazil.
