Jury convicts man who shot 4-year-old San Leandro boy

(Kron)-Prosecutors said that a jury in the province of Islama condemned a criminal at the attempt to kill on Wednesday after he shot a 4-year-old boy in San Leandro.

Adam Abraham Johnson, 34, launched a pistol at a house on February 24, 2024. Prosecutors said Johnson had opened fire in an attempt to kill someone who is believed to have stolen his car. Instead, Johnson killed the young boy who was at home.

Before the shooting, Johnson reported his car as stolen. I used a GPS tracking device to find it parked in a corridor outside a house on West Juana Street. Johnson, an armed with a pistol, said Johnson decided to take the law in his hands.

“Johnson launched his semi -automatic pistol at the person who is believed to have stolen his car. Mr. Johnson launched multiple tours of his pistol in a window. The provincial lawyer’s office, a 4 -year -old child sitting on a sofa in the living room.

The injured boy was taken to a hospital in Auckland, where he recovered later on his wound.

Jones Dickson said: “We are grateful because the bullet that struck this innocent victim did not take the life of this child. Mr. Johnson, as a convicted criminal, should not have had the rifle he used in the first place. His actions were to take the law in his hands, was completely inappropriate and had led to the death of an innocent child.”

Johnson’s jury condemned two charges of attempting to kill, shooting at a residence, two charges of assaulting a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a criminal.

He is facing prison for up to 39 years and is scheduled to be sentenced on July 11 in the Justice Hall in East County in Dublin.

“If you are using a pistol, you will be sued, and you will be punished accordingly,” said Jones Dickson.
