“This has been done because we need a space for our emergency employees, shootings, paramedics, and police, to be able to get the ability to reach the north and the south to enter the neighborhood, but also creates a safe environment for those who want to celebrate the cenecco de Mayo,” said Brand County 4.
Qualley says if they start seeing a lot of heavy congestion in the neighboring streets, they will start the second stage of this traffic trimming measures. This is where they can close some east and west streets to those neighborhoods to allow residents to move across their areas.
DPD also encourages safe and sober leadership.
“We will really be a really great weekend, so we expect a lot of people there. We ask for patience with people who enter and get out of the neighborhoods. We really want people to enjoy themselves, but we also want them to do it safely.”
