Pereira recently shared snaps from his photoshoot with GQ Brasil on his Instagram. The social media post featured six images, the first being a black-and-white snap with two gloves hanging around his neck.
The second snap, possibly a cover photo, showed an angry-looking Pereira in a punching position. The next two snaps showed the left and right parts of his face, while the penultimate snap showed the former middleweight and light heavyweight champion in all-black formal attire.
The final snap showed “Poatan” flaunting five luxurious watches on his left arm. “Chama,” the 37-year-old captioned the post.
Fight fans shared their feelings in the comments section of Pereira’s Instagram post.
“Bro’s aura maxxing,” a fan hailed Pereira.
“Aura,” a fan seconded the thought.
“Bro lock in please, we need someone exciting back at lhw champ,” a fan urged Pereira to concentrate on his next fight.
“No chama Ankalaev time,” a fan trolled Pereira.
“COLD,” a fan shared their feeling about the photoshoot.
A fan predicted another career for Pereira: “You would make a great villain in Fast and Furious.”

Pereira’s next fight will likely be in October, when the UFC does its annual PPV in the United Arab Emirates. The promotion is known for stacking the PPV card with Asian and European fighters. With Ankalaev, a Russian, being the champion, his chances of defending the title in October are high.

Jon Jones, the UFC heavyweight champion, had expressed interest in fighting Pereira after “Bones” defended his title against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309. Moreover, Oleksandr Usyk, the former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion, showed interest in a crossover bout.
Unfortunately, Periera lost to Ankalaev at UFC 313. He appeared on “The Ariel Helwani Show” shortly after the loss, where the noted MMA journalist asked him about his plans if he had won.
