The family of a man was killed after being shocked by two cars in Torns, devastating with the suspect’s driver remaining as a whole.
On April 19, Carlos Gonzalez, 38, was trying to cross the Pacific Coast Road near Ocean Avenue on foot at around 8:40 pm when a vehicle was injured.
The effect hit him in the middle of the crowded road. The suspect started from the scene. Then Dashcam Video showed a next PickAP truck walking over Carlos and pulling his body under the car before finally stopped.
Liu Davis, the righteous Samaritan who discovered Carlos, immediately pulled and rushed to help him.
“It was a terrible scene,” Davis said. “I haven’t seen someone nicknamed the street like this and left this road.”
Davis tried to save life on Carlos, waiting for the paramedics to arrive.
Davis said: “He was stuck under the car by the time I reached, so I cut it from under the car,” Davis said. “I took off his jacket. I reviewed his airlines, and I examined the movement of the chest. I only continued to do CPR until the police came.”
But despite Davis’s rapid work, he announced the death of Carlos at the scene.
“Liu was the person who was here to help my brother and be with him before he passed,” Carla said.
Although the first driver escaped, the second driver remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with the investigation. The police have no yet description of the suspect’s car.
While Carlos’s friends and family are sad about the loss of a brother and his son, they hope that the driver who killed him will be arrested soon.
Carlos’s friend, a woman who was only recognized by Bretani, said that she is still shocking that anyone will escape from the place of a deadly crime.
“I understand that accidents occur, but you cannot leave,” said Brittani. “You can not only hit someone and leave. His mother – she needs justice for her son.”
