Many Ash Junber considers it to be a lesion in Texas. However, the tree provides homes and food for many Texas animals. The tree also helps to prevent corrosion, which is a great concern in the country of the hill.

“They are growing in many places where other trees cannot help fix the soil, and prevent them from erosion during rain events,” said Karl Flock of Texas A.

However, the trees release clouds from pollen every winter. For many, this leads to severe sensitivity. Due to the size of rice pollen, strong winds can carry the yellow powder hundreds of miles and even for other states.
