Liam Gallagher has shared that he spent a “BIBLICAL Easter Sunday” with his brother Noel and his nephews ahead of Oasis‘ reunion tour.
Yesterday (April 21), Liam took to X (formerly Twitter) to write that Noel and his songs Donavan and Sonny had visited him for “a cup of tea” on Easter Sunday – a positive sign ahead of Oasis’ reunion trek this summer given the brothers’ rocky history.
Liam wrote: “So we had a BIBLICAL Easter Sunday Noel Donavan and Sonny popped over to ours for a cup of tea it was absolutely incredible to meet the young guvs i obviously blew [their] minds coz im cool as fuck you heard it here 1st”.

The post comes less than three months before Liam and Noel are due to reunite as Oasis for the first time since 2009 in July across the UK and Ireland, in what will be the first of numerous Oasis gigs around the globe. Liam’s positive update also arrives two months after he squashed reports that he met up with Noel in February, branding it as “fake news”.
The claims said that they were seen together at Nobu Hotel Portman Square near Hyde Park, along with both of Liam’s sons and spent an hour talking in a private room. Reports also added that the two were joined by Oasis guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs before leaving separately.
An anonymous source then claimed that the brothers were on “much better terms now”. However, Liam dismissed all the reports as false and told followers on social media that the meeting never took place. “Is it true that you spoke for one hour with Noel in a hotel in London the other day?” one person asked him on February 28. The singer bluntly responded: “FAKE NEWS”.
That wasn’t the first time that Liam has put rumours to rest regarding the upcoming Oasis reunion shows. Earlier in February, the Britpop icon shut down tabloid reports claiming that he was looking to buy a “country mansion” in the Cotswolds with the money he makes from the tour.
He also addressed fans who were speculating about the length of the upcoming shows, jokingly telling them it would be exactly “59 minutes and 59 seconds”.
In anticipation of the monumental reunion tour, sources close to the band told NME that the band’s line-up will include Andy Bell, Gem Archer, Bonehead and Joey Waronker, alongside Noel and Liam Gallagher.
The shows kick off in July and include dates at Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Dublin’s Croke Park, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium before heading abroad.
Australian indie heroes Ball Park Music are the latest act to be announced as Oasis’ support for their reunion treks, confirmed to open for the latter’s Australian shows later this year. Cast and Richard Ashcroft have previously been announced as the special guests for the gigs in the UK and Ireland, while Cage The Elephant will support in North America and Mexico.
Supporting acts for the band’s Asia and South American dates have yet to be announced.
