“The firearms are the main cause of death in children between the ages of 18 and 20, and the increase in suicide in firearms should be threatened with danger to everyone,” said Representative Lindsay Gilkerist, a democratic representing Denver in a press statement. “As a mother of young children, I am concerned that their school can be the next site for the mass tragedy. Armed violence is very common in Colorado, but it shouldn’t be. For this reason I care for this law to help reduce the suicide of firearms for youth by increasing age to buy ammunition and add protection, and provide countless Colorado’s life.”
